BVG | Ich bin ein Fahrgast – Ich steig gleich aus!

Public transport rarely says sorry in a way people truly feel. In Berlin, where delays and crowded trains are part of everyday life, BVG chose a different approach: an apology that is honest, direct, and unmistakably local.

With the campaign “Ich bin ein Fahrgast – Ich steig gleich aus!” (I am a passenger – I’m getting off now!), the city becomes a reality TV show. Inspired by iconic German formats, passengers face exaggerated versions of real challenges, turning daily frustrations into entertainment with a message.

The result is a campaign that resonates with Berliners through authenticity and wit, across digital episodes, social media, and out of home, even inviting the public to vote for a winner in the final.
